Page Prompt

This week, as we start the new year, I would like you to take a look backwards. I know, every site in the world is suggesting a 2008 layout. But, I want you to do it from a Spiritual perspective. What is the one lesson that the Lord worked with you on in the last year? If you are like me, there were a few...but what is one that jumps to mind. Remember to share your work- we will all be encouraged by seeing it!!

Layout of the Week...

is back!!! Yeah!! Thanks for being patient with me- I really appreciate it...and I appreciated the break, too! This week, I have the most stunning card to show you! Look what I found over on Amy's blog- isn't it just wonderful!! I mean, the colors, the distressing- this isn't a card, it's a little work of art!

Congrats to Amy Sheffer for being this week's Layout of the Week- if you shoot me an email at ahouse@scrapbooknewsandreview.com we will get your free month of the magazine started.

Talking of resolutions, I thought this article was fun: Christian Music Artist Share New Year's Resolutions. Always nice to know, I'm not the only one!!

Chime In!!

Hey- time to answer the question...what are your Spiritual Resolutions for this year? I would love to hear them!

I chose 4 words that the Lord has led me to concentrate on in my Walk: trust, beauty, heart and serve.

So- what about you? Leave a comment, and let's hear them!

OK, I have to point out Patter's new challenge series. Remember, last year she hosted the incredible Scripture Memory Verse Challenge. I loved that!! I didn't get to play every year- but I am hoping to add a few more cards in this year, as she replays it.

This year, Patter is hosting a Names of God Challenge. This is so cool! Every OTHER week, she gives us an attribute of God. We get to scrap about it. This week was HOLY. What a great chance to do a little study on the word Holy, talk to God a bit about it...then scrap our thoughts on it! Now, I actually have my Payer Journal set up in a 3 ring binder. (Decorated- of course, lol). This lets me set up sections the way I wanted. I mention this, because I have a section in my Prayer Journal for 8 1/2x 11 layouts I scrap on topics the Lord and I are working on. I have found it an incredible time of learning and growth, as We scrap together...and I love looking back over our lessons, too! My Names of God pages are going straight into this section!!

Be sure to hop over and check out Triple the Scraps for more info!!

Welcome Back!!

Hey, everyone!! Hoping and praying you all had a great Holiday! I am just getting back at it from my vacation- what a wonderful time of rest and recuperation! I love the way the Lord builds seasons of rest into our lives. Now, all I have to do is get back into the routine of things!!

I know we usually have LOTW today- I am going to start slowly, though...say hi- wish you all the BEST New Year- and we will get back at it tomorrow. I promise!! Thanks so much for your understanding!
