This week's question: Do you memorize Scripture? Do you have a favorite verse? Hey, it's a twofer...2 questions for the price of one, lol!! So, leave us a comment and let us know!
I tend to remember verses from re-reading them so many times over the years. It probably would be good to be more deliberate about memorising scripture. One of my favourite verses has to be Proverbs 3:5,6 I always find it relevant.
I don't have a regular memory program right now. I should though. My favorite verse is Psalm 61:2 "...when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the Rock that is higher than I."
I am very grateful that I earnestly memorized verses as a child through AWANA and church. I am able to recall those verses from my youth but learning new ones now is tough. My favorite: "God is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us..." Eph 3:20
My wife and I have been memorizing whole books of Scripture. I say this, not to boast, but to say that my "favorite verse" is one that kind of pops into my head whenever I am doing whatever at the moment. Does that make sense?
One of the resources Scrapbook News and Review is proud of is its comprehensive database of retailers throughout the nation. Let's do something similar here! I would like to build a list of all the blogs and sites throughout the web that incorporate their faith. Imagine the resource and encouragement we could be to one another. Do you have a blog or site that belongs on this list? Drop me a note, I'll get you added!

Right now, my favorite is:
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose
mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.
Just did a lo with that one so it's fresh in my mind.
