Chime In!!

Hey- time to answer the question...what are your Spiritual Resolutions for this year? I would love to hear them!

I chose 4 words that the Lord has led me to concentrate on in my Walk: trust, beauty, heart and serve.

So- what about you? Leave a comment, and let's hear them!

I used the one word idea. My word is PRAY. God has been working on this topic with me for a while and I am believing that 2009 will be the year. My goal is to have a praying life not just a prayer life. When I pray first I slow down. When I pray first I will have a much better chance of knowing God and His will.

Great concept!! I have thought and thought about the one word resolution and there are so many I can't just nail it down to one. A couple that I have thought about, though, are PURPOSE and INTENTIONAL.

I need to be intentional about sharing the gospel with my kiddos, about TRAINING them instead of just letting life happen. The world is just too willing to grab on to their little hearts and it won't be long before they are lost not knowing how to live walking WITH Christ.

As far as a spiritual resolution (I'm not one to get too excited about the whole idea of resolutions in general because, once again, life happens and I usually forget about them), this year I have decided to try a "read through the Bible". I know I am already VERY behind, but I have started charting Biblical family history as I read as well as a time line. Realizing that I'm sure I have access to this somewhere online, I know it just wouldn't penetrate my brain unless I do it on my own. It's been VERY helpful in my study as well as extremely interesting.

Wow! I've started rambling. Sorry. Hope you have a very blessed day!!

My word is: MINDFUL--i believe that if i'm going to walk the walk, i need to talk the talk as well--i am mindful of how ithink, how i react and how i fel when it come to the human race---i try to be the example and not the problem during my everyday walk in life--when things go wrong, i ask myself how would God react if i didn't follow through to make it right?--everyday is a challenge for us all--but we must be mindful how to talk with one another, how we look at one another and how we must learn to love one another in this lifetime--i want everything i do to be good in god's eyes---so thats my word for the year: MINDFUL--remain blessed!!
